TMJ Tox
If your jaw feels tight by midday or you wake up with tension, TMJ Tox can dial down the muscle effort so everything feels calmer.
- 15–25 min appointment
- Minimal downtime
What it addresses
- Jaw clenching and nighttime grinding tension
- Masseter “tightness” or a sore jawline
- Headache patterns tied to jaw overuse (for some clients)
- Optional aesthetic benefit: a softer lower-face look over time
What changes
The goal is less muscle force — not a frozen face. You can still chew and talk normally; the muscle just works less aggressively.
Right-fit check
TMJ Tox is a great match if you feel constant jaw tension or clench without realizing it. If your pain is sharp, new, or dental-related, we’ll recommend you rule out tooth or joint issues first.

FAQs
Does TMJ Tox treat the joint itself?
It targets the muscle activity that contributes to clenching (the masseter). It isn’t a dental procedure, and it doesn’t “fix” bite alignment — it helps reduce how hard the muscle works.
Will it change my smile or how I talk?
When placed correctly, most clients keep normal expression and speech. We focus on the chewing muscles, and dosing is tailored to avoid an over-relaxed feel.
When should I expect relief if I grind at night?
Many notice a gradual change over 1–3 weeks. If you wake up sore, the morning tension often improves as the muscle relaxes more fully.
Will my face look slimmer?
Some people with stronger masseters see a softer jawline over time. That change is subtle and tends to show after the muscle has been relaxed for several weeks.
How often do I need to repeat it?
Common timing is every 3–4 months. We’ll track how long your results last and adjust your schedule so you stay comfortable without over-treating.
Can I do this if I have jaw clicking?
Sometimes, but clicking can come from the joint, the disc, or the bite. If symptoms are new, severe, or worsening, it’s smart to also check in with your dentist or a TMJ specialist.
