Perfect Derma Peel

A controlled resurfacing treatment for smoother texture, clearer pores, and a more even-looking tone — with a very “scheduled” recovery window.

Think of this as a planned refresh: you’ll look a little flaky for a few days, and then your skin settles into a cleaner, brighter finish.

Serving Brownstown and nearby Southgate, Allen Park, Lincoln Park, and Taylor.
  • 30–45 min
  • 3–7 days (visible peeling)

What it improves

Best for: tone + texture + congestion, and the look of lingering blemish marks.

  • Dullness / uneven tone
  • Rough or “bumpy” texture
  • Clogged pores and stubborn buildup
  • Overall skin clarity
Common goals: look smoother in makeup, more even in photos, less “shadow” from old breakouts.

How it works + choosing

Perfect Derma is a professional peel that triggers a controlled shedding cycle. You’ll have a few days where peeling is visible, then skin settles into a brighter, cleaner finish.

How to choose: Choose Perfect Derma if you want a noticeable refresh and you can plan around 3–7 days of flaking. If you need something with little to no peeling this week, pick a lighter option instead.

TREATMENT DETAILS

The appointment is quick. The “work” happens at home over the next week, as your skin naturally sheds and smooths.

Appointment

Plan for 30–45 minutes. We cleanse, prep, apply the peel in layers, and send you off with simple, clear do’s and don’ts.

Comfort / sensation

A warm or tingly sensation can show up during application. Most clients say it’s intense in short moments, then fades.

Timeline

Skin often starts to look “fresher” in 2–3 days. Peeling commonly begins around day 3, then tapers as the week finishes.

How long it lasts

Expect the refreshed look to hold about 4–6 weeks. For more stubborn concerns, a series is usually the fastest path.
Tip:

Keep your schedule low-key midweek — the flaking phase is normal, but it’s not “date night” energy.

Before your appointment
  • Skip retinoids and exfoliating acids for several days prior
  • Avoid tanning/sunburn and heavy sun exposure
  • Let us know about cold sores, allergies, or new products
  • Hold off on waxing or aggressive scrubs close to treatment

How to care for your skin after

  • Hands off: let peeling lift naturally (no picking or rubbing)
  • Use lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser only
  • Moisturize often — comfort over “active ingredients”
  • Protect with sunscreen daily; avoid heat/steam workouts for a bit

FAQs

Short answers to the questions we hear most about the Perfect Derma Peel.

Most clients do peel. Some flake lightly, others shed more noticeably around the mouth and chin. We’ll set expectations based on your skin type and routine.

Give yourself at least 10–14 days before anything important. Even after peeling ends, your skin can look extra “new,” and you’ll want time for it to settle.

It’s better to keep makeup minimal while you’re actively flaking, because it can cling to dry areas. If you must, choose lightweight coverage and remove it gently.

It can be a great option for congestion and texture, but we’ll review your current products and any prescriptions to make sure timing and prep are appropriate.

Many clients space treatments about 4–6 weeks apart when doing a series. Maintenance is often seasonal, depending on your goals and how your skin behaves.

Plan your “peel week”

If you’re ready for a noticeable refresh and you can plan around a few days of shedding, this is one of the fastest ways to get skin looking smoother and more even — without an overdone look.
